For us, it’s all about the details: intricate wire layouts, equipment harnesses and complete instrument panel reengineering, performed by the most skilled and experienced technicians in the industry. But what matters most is that what begins with your imagination, becomes a reality as we develop the finest instrument panel using the latest technology.
Eagle Creek is also a developmental partner for the Meggitt MAGIC EFIS, Digital Autopilot and Digital Engine Instrument System. This new generation integrated cockpit a suite of four instrument flat panel displays that replace analog equipment with state-of-the-art digital interfaces. This system includes a Primary Flight, Navigational, Engine and Instrument Display, and Digital Autopilot, the 2100 DFCS (digital flight control system).
The 2100 DFCS is a three-axis, fully digital attitude-based flight control system, the first new autopilot system for Twin Commanders in many years. The MAGIC 2100 DFCS has a clear, functional LCD display and incorporates both an integrated altitude pre-selector and indicated airspeed hold function for safe, stabilized climbs and level-offs. The 2100 also features cockpit voice annunciation and display of active and armed modes for quick and easy confirmation of flight control system configuration. Guidance is based on the Meggitt Air Data, Attitude, and heading Reference System (ADAHRS).
These displays replace virtually every electo-rmechanical instrument and gauge on the panel. Pilots who have flown the complete system continually remark upon the positive transformation in cockpit appearance, function and safety.
The system is also available in other aircraft like the King Air C90, Conquest II and Cheyenne II.
